Mogotio Little Friends Academy was officially established on 3rd May 2005 in Mogotio town, on the western outskirts of the town center. The school began as an Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre with Baby, Middle, and Top classes, with a vision to provide quality Christian education in Kenya.
Through steady growth, the academy expanded rapidly. By the third term of 2005, the school had enrolled about 40 learners. In January 2006, the school introduced its first Standard One class, and by the end of that year, enrollment had risen to about 180 learners. The institution started with only two ECD teachers and two primary school teachers, but continued to progress well.
In 2011, Mogotio Little Friends Academy presented its first candidates for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), marking a significant milestone in our journey. The school excelled, emerging top in Baringo County with an impressive mean score of 352.3 marks.
Over the years, the academy has consistently upheld a tradition of academic excellence. In 2017, the school distinguished itself further by attaining position 3 nationally in a competitive academic contest within the Rift Valley Region.
Today, Mogotio Little Friends Academy continues to grow as a centre of learning excellence, nurturing young minds for a brighter future. We offer both the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and continue to expand our facilities to meet the evolving needs of our students.
